I have never used a Lanier transcriber. Have Sanyo for both standard and micro scribers. I do criminal investigative work on the standard and would like a better quality machine for interviews that are of poorer quality. Additionally, my micro just crapped out on me and was wondering if it is worth it to get a Lanier. Thanks,
