for my one doc, who switched to digital. It was the only thing that worked that I could afford when she chose a recorder other than what I recommended. I used the hotkeys for control until recently. Wished I had gotten the foot pedal long ago.

I have used the Express Dictate to copy tapes to digital to transfer to my subcontractors. It is much easier than using the sound recorder that came with the computer's accessories in that I don't have to keep watch over the transfer to make sure it continues or has stopped. Another benefit, is that the files are smaller and makes transfer time shorter (particularly for my subs with dial up Internet).
