I own both GearPlayer and ByteScribe and truthfully I prefer GearPlayer. I had no trouble at all learning GearPlayer. Plus, GearPlayer also allows you to download from an FTP site, which is just one of it's added features. If you only need a wave player ByteScribe is simple to use. GearPlayer on the other hand as added features. If you have any other questions feel free to email me.
