Thanks Becky, you made that very understandable. It does not sound like a very efficient way of transcribing, especially when in an area where the phone service is terrible, like I have. Eveytime the wind blows, we loose phone or electricity. I see a lot of used C-phones for sale and always wondered why. Thanks for your help Sandy
