I got a refurb Sony on eBay for $49. It's been good to me for over four years now. I prefer it to the Panasonic microcassette transcriber that I was required to buy with my MT course, so I sold that one on eBay for $180. The Panasonic worked fine, but I had already used the Sony so I just sold the new one.
