I may be of no help, so grain of salt here, lol. I have Stedman's Electronic Dictionary and Sylvan's spell check. When I install my Sylvan's, however, the same thing happens; it installs it and then you're done. To get mine to work in my Word Perfect (haven't tried it in Word yet) I have to go into my spell check in WP, click on Main Dictionaries, select Add, and then tell WP where the Sylvan Dictionary is located. My file name would be different from where your Stedman's is located, but it is C:\sylspell\medph67.mor. Of course, if the program is nowhere to be found on your C drive, I've not been of much help here. lol
