I am not in the market for a c-phone. One of my transcriptionists was looking for one and found them on E-bay. I would question the ones for $45 or any price close to that. This same transcriptionists purchased a tape transcription machine from E-bay at a "great price" and it went south within a week of purchase. The problem with buying from E-bay is that you do not get to try before you buy and with electronics that's a bit alarming to me. Remember that if the price sounds too good to be true, there is generally a "catch." I have been in business for over 30 years and would not buy a used piece of transcription or computer equipment, unless I personally was able to test and evaluate its functionality. There are a number of reputable companies selling used equipment that guarantee their product; if this is something you plan to use for a while, I would investigate that avenue. Good luck.
