the most reasonably priced quick look drug book that I absolutely swear by is:

Tarascon Pocket Pharmacopoeia- this book sells for around 10.00 and is THE most complete drug book I have ever used - Quck look up - phonetically,,,,then will refer you back to the drug category - gives dosages, etc.

The front of the book gives correct abbreviations for dosages, etc.

Ordered it from a small college town book store. Is probably available at Amazon also
