a specific specality then that word book for sure, a drug book, a good medical dictionary, a Webster's dictionary. If you are going to be doing acute care, then I would recommend buying a word book each pay day. I prefer Stedmans and have all of them. As you will be working at home, these are all business expenses and can be written off for tax purposes.
