Lanier voicewriter LX-219 analog connect

When I try to connect to the main number, it puts me in "dictator" mode. I have read the prior post on this exact same problem, did everything that it said to and I STILL get the connection in analog only. I can connect to a couple of the numbers given for the same account and it will connect, but those numbers are busy now. Any other ideas? - TIA!
