I have been experiening a great deal of shoulder and elbow pain with transcription to the point of physical therapy and antiinflammatories. I have always been so careful to avoid carpal tunnel problems, but it's my ulnar nerve that is giving me fits. It seems that most ergo keyboards are geared for those with carpal tunnel problems instead of ulnar neuritis.

For those that have this keyboard, does it alleviate shoulder problems? I have tried the Microsoft Elite and it made the pain much worse..

I would really like to try the Kinesis keyboard, but am afraid that after making a $300 investment, it won't alleviate my shoulder pain. Therefore, I would love to buy a used one just to see if this helps.

I would love to hear some suggestions about other keyboards as well from anyone who has experienced shoulder/elbow problems.

If I can't find a solution, I'm afraid I'm going to have to change careers.

Thanks!
