Just thinking

My view is to wait and see and to keep on working. I know this is probably not a popular idea and I will probably be called an idiot or stupid or something but oh well. It seems so easy to get caught up in all the bad thoughts and the news articles and think only horrible thoughts. Has anyone thought about the possibility that MedQuist may pay back the companies they overbilled, pay the enormous fines, and then move on? It is possible for a company to survive a lawsuit, stranger things have happened. I admit that if they overbilled, especially if it was on purpose, that is horrible, but it doesn't mean that MQ is necessarily a sinking ship that will eventually go down all the way. Is it possible they may go out of business? Of course it is but I honestly doubt it will happen and I don't think working myself up into a frenzy about the things that may happen in the near or distant future is the right thing to do. Personally I like my job. I feel bad that they are in trouble but I have never dealt with the bigwigs at corporate, only the office I work for. I have nothing against the company since I have had a good time working for them for the last five years and they have always been good to me.

So I guess I will just wait and see what happens and hope for the best and keep on typing. If things don't work out and I lose my job then oh well, I will move on. Life is full of uncertainties and unknown things, that's what makes it interesting.
