EtransPlus- Just accepted position and kinda nervous

Can someone please fill me in on this company's background. I am supposed to be hired as an employee, but the first thing they send me to sign is a lease form for an $800.00 dollar wave pedal. Anyone else out there have recently been hired. When do they send out other important employee information, such as W2, direct deposit form, HIPPA agreement, etc.? Thanks
