I was a supervisor for MedQuist and now type at home and my minimum requirement has always been 4,000 lines unless they have decided to change it down the road, but have not heard of this as of yet. And of course, if the workload is not there, they cannot terminate you if you have no way of getting your line count. There is barely enough work for me to get 4,000 sometimes.
