What do you think about closed captioning...

Thinking about training for closed captioning. Was a court reporter for a number of years and decided to stay at home with new baby and do medical transcription. I would need about a years's worth of training. It pays really, really good. Some reports making 80-100,000 a year doing. You don't even work 8 hours. I am told you only work 4-5, unless you want more. There is a shortage. By the year 2006 all TV programs and commercials have to be closed captioned. I know you see mistakes a lot, but closed captioning companies are really trying to get reporters trained. It is mostly done live except for some shows and cartoons.

Just wanted to know what people thought about it.
