Hi! I just found this bulletin board while browsing the net re: general transcription. I'm a stay-at-home mom and have a small word processing business in my home. I'm looking for an at-home transcription position. My experience has been some general transcription ie., telephone interviews and one-on-one interviews; and also transcribed general letters for the president of a corporation for four years when I was in the corporate world eight years ago. I've also done a very small (2-week) medical transcription job for a gastroenterologist (many years ago).

I bought the SUM Program six to seven years ago but didn't get to finish the program as I started rec'g client work for word processing plus a volunteer situation I was involved in for a few years kept me busy, and I had to put the SUM program on the back burner. But my life has changed and I need to bring in some money. So I'd like to find some general transcription work but just don't know what companies to trust on the internet. I would very much appreciate any suggestions.

I'm also considering dusting off my SUM program and would like your thoughts/opinions on the program. I spent a lot of money when I bought it and am wondering if I should get it back out and work with what I have, or sell it on eBay, or just what to do?

Thanks for your thoughts, and sorry for the lengthy post!!
