Working at Spheris

I am a new hire at Spheris. I read all I could find before I made my decision. Training was very intense, frustrating, but learning any new platform, software or system is. I have two computers. I got a nifty little gizmo called a KSM(Keyboard, Screen, Mouse) switch that will let me access both hard-drives, with a click of the switch. It has worked perfectly. If anyone else is contemplating this, I strongly suggest you consider this option. I initially did not want two screens, two keyboards, etc, and then my SO said that would not be a problem with this little gizmo. Rough quote of price is about $100,00, At some point in the future SO will say I need it back for my work, and I will have to purchase my own.

Although I get lots of feedback of my reports of what I am doing right and wrong, I take this as a learning experience. Everyone has been extremely cordial, professional and over and above helpful.

To all of you out in Cyberspace, do not take anything you read on these boards as Gospel. Sometimes you have to go out on a limb and experience it for yourself.

Just my 2 cents about this whole National thing going on.
