a large psych account, have you? It can be as intense as op notes with large facilites that have inpatients, outpatients, legal evaluations, committments of legal and self-committment, rehab, therapy, housing for outpatients, etc. LOL, easy...do not think so. Having run one, I have to share that there are many who just cannot cut the mustard on psych as they are unable to comprehend all that goes on and all of the terms used in the field. However, just like any other department, it can be learned, and very enjoyable. Many find that psyh accounts have too many templates, too many work types whereas as I love the variety, love the long reports I can sink my effort into instead of spending more time on demographics than typing the body of the report, love all the special formatting..the higher the complexity, the more I like it! However, just like ops, eye, surgery...psych is something people either really take to and love for life or it just is not for them, which is the great thing about our job, we have lots of departments to choose to work on and only our waking hours limit our ability to learn more!
