I read the link. They are so proud of the fact that they send transcription all over the world. This is a little frightening. I thought they were against outsourcing? One tidbit. I have a transcriptionist friend who believes the Shapins contract for work from other transcription companies and farms it out to their people. Maybe that's why the will only pay 1.5 cents per line for editing. How much could their "clients" be paying them if they are subcontracting from a contractor? Hmmm......
